Digital Degeneration and Random Synchronisation.

June 2006, Glasgow School Of Art, Main Building,

Converted storage space, Work installed for 3 weeks.

Due to the fragile nature of the equipment i was using, the installation itself started to degenerate during the two weeks in which it was on for. The images began to change in quality, speed, and sometimes colour. Some of the TV sets would pack in altogether until they'd had a rest, and occasionally a cd or dvd would freeze or skip.

Such unpredicted behaviour changed the way in which the installation was experienced, and added an even more random quality.

The degeneration of the audio was an important process, and went as follows:

..leaving me with 5 cds to be played on 5 different headphones in the installation.
