I am interested and inspired by patterns, textures, colour, dreams, geometric shapes,

stop animation video, electronic equipment, music, natural forms,

scaffolding, derelict buildings, rust, decay and transformative processes.

I have an overactive imagination, something i find both exciting and completely exhausting!

ACHIEVEMENTS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2010

The majority of my creativity is going in a design based direction and i setup Natural Unnatural to indulge my love of colour and eco-friendly materials and processes. My focus is on designing and making screenprinted greetings cards, t-shirts and prints, however i have also branched out into jewellery and software design.

I've never liked to limit myself to one style or way of working - i find all the possibilities out there so exciting! Now i have worked in most artistic mediums, i am more focused and know what direction i want to take - one which is colourful, fun and hands on.

Natural Unnatural gives me a framework and a focus which keeps my style consistent - and by working in applied art i am getting my work seen and enjoyed by more people.

Please check Natural Unnatural from time to time if you would like to see what i am upto. Or if you email me i can add you to my mailing list.

2009

- In the summer i was awarded funding from the Princes Youth Business Trust, Glasgow West Regeneration Agency and Enterprising Women, who have provided me with a great deal of advice and support. This has allowed me to purchase a screenprinting press and set up my studio.

- 'Lebanon and Off' was shown at the 6th International Animation Festival in Tehran, Iran in March 2009.

- I was part of 'The Intenational Exquisite Corps Project', an collaboration with 19 other international artists, curated by Mary Corey March.
